Bottle at home. It pours a semi clear yellow color with a small white head. The aroma has some subtle vanilla, passionfruit and a hint of funk. The flavor is fruity up front with papaya, grass and light grassy bitterness. The subtle tartness and subdued bitterness allow the fruitiness of the Citra to really shine. Well done.

Bottle split at Hackobock Tasting, Islington, thanks to (name withheld) 24/11/16. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is light citric peel, grains, straw, bready pang. Taste comprises toasted grains, wheat, lemon drool, straw, grass, bread dough, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough for style.

Grand tasting at Craft Islington with Hackobock. Thanks to Fergus. Almost clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is soft and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, some grain showing. Light creamy sweetness and malt tang. Touch of paper. Whisper of dried fruits. Dry finish. No room for error with a Kolsch and this is a bit of a mess.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is ginger, mildly. Med minus body. Flavor is gingery/bread. Not a ginger cookie, but so much closer to that than of so many ginger beers. I really like it. If you like ginger beer, you should try this.

Bottle shared at the Hackobock tasting at Craft Islington. Cheers! It pours hazy golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, white bread, plenty of sweetness, green vegetables, grain, glue and marker pen. The taste is crisp, dry, white bread, plenty of glue, permanent marker pen, paint, cereal and some sweet apple. Medium body and moderate carbonation. That gluey vibe is really putting me off.

Tap at the tap room. Pours dark brown/tan head. Aroma is moderately dark treacle. Med body at least. Flavor is earthy dark malt/nut notes. Not too dry. Not very bitter. With some help from the heat it tastes very good tho.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours dark gold with an off-white head. Aroma hardly exists for me. Near med body. Flavor is sour/mild tropical fruit/astringent wood. A good sour but there is no "specific" flavor for me.

Bomber from the taproom. Pours orangey gold with a white head. Aroma is pine/citrus. Med body. Flavor is brown sugar/malt, pine, citrus, spice, fruits. Various fruits. It’s juicy malty. Bitter, but not harshly. A bit far from dry. But quite delicious.
