Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours bright copper with a transient white head. Aroma is dry and reddish berry. Med body at least. It’s dry, red berryish, definitely sour, woody. Astringent. Really nice.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark ruddy brown with a beige head. Aroma is sour; woody; maybe rum. Med + body. Flavor is sour, woody, very light rum - it’s suggesting "food" - not to get food - but that it is food. Could use more rum. Still very nice tho. Excellent.

Capped 750 from the Vacaville Nugget. Pours bright copper with a foamy beige head. Aroma of toasty/spicy malt with some mild fruit. Med body or so. Flavor is roasty malt, mild berry, spice, and in the finish a rather strong chocolate. Goes a bit earthy. And a bit nutty. Very different.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a dark cream head. Honey and light red wine aroma with light yeastiness. Yeast and bready flavor up front that becomes fruitier - red fruit and light wine. Medium bodied. Honey and malt linger with yeast and light red wine.

Capped 750 from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark orangey copper with a beige/tan head. Aroma is floral, and it does smell somewhat like berry jam. Not sure what kind of berry. Med body or so. Flavor is rather red berry, and there’s some earthy woodiness. Arguably a bit tart, but not strongly so. It’s a very nice thing - finishing fruity towards dry, but not very bitter. If bitter even applies. It’s more of a woody mild astringency. Tastes very good.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours golden orange with a beige head. Aromas of resin, earth and citrus. Full bodied or so. Flavor is pine, resin, earth, and arguably citrus. The malt has a detectable flavor - seems lightly toasted. It’s very hoppy; bitterness builds in the mouth. Not really harsh tho. Just a good ol’ hoppy ale. With some time there is a cedar wood aspect that comes forth.
