Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, caramel malt and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, fruit and spices. The finish is fruity up front with an herbal yeast and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

750ml bottle shared at GTMW ticket wait out 2014. Belgian tones but smooth and easy like a Cream Ale at times. A little buttery, grainy. A touch flat, thin, Odd nutty tones. OK...kind of.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Davis, CA. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is mostly roasty malt, light, with not a lot of hop. A little fruit/citrus? Med body. Flavor is fruity. Grapey/grapefruit. Not harsh. Mild roasty caramel. It’s a little bit subtle on several points. But it drinks easily, and has a nice flavor. Very refined/low key. Clean.

Bomber from Whole Foods in Davis, CA..Pours amber gold with a white head. Light floral aroma over mild caramel. Full bodied. Flavor is fruity/earthy. Even spicy. Fruit on tongue edges? Bitter fruit? This is really flavorful, but only mildly burning. Excellent ale.

From bomber to stange. Aromas of wheat malt, lemon and bready yeast. Pours a clear yellow with massive carbonation and full white head. Malt takes center stage with overt noble hops as well. Thinnish mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish and moderate low bitterness. All around pleasurable.

Bomber from the Woodland Nugget. Pours light orange amber with a foamy white head. Aroma seems citrus and light stone fruit. Med + body, or nearly. Flavor is very hoppy. Citrus, pine, ? Not getting much caramel. I think it needs a little more malt to support the hop. Just sayin’. Maybe, just maybe, I’m getting something like blackberry and peach buried way down. Interest, fruity bitter finish.
