Tap. Pours hazy golden orange, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is super light, melons, hints of aspirin, movie popcorn, stonefruit. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. This is clearly not your run of the mill IPA. Medium body, creamy.

Bottle at home. It pours a semi clear yellow color with a small white head. The aroma has some subtle vanilla, passionfruit and a hint of funk. The flavor is fruity up front with papaya, grass and light grassy bitterness. The subtle tartness and subdued bitterness allow the fruitiness of the Citra to really shine. Well done.

Bottle split at Hackobock Tasting, Islington, thanks to (name withheld) 24/11/16. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is light citric peel, grains, straw, bready pang. Taste comprises toasted grains, wheat, lemon drool, straw, grass, bread dough, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough for style.

Grand tasting at Craft Islington with Hackobock. Thanks to Fergus. Almost clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is soft and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, some grain showing. Light creamy sweetness and malt tang. Touch of paper. Whisper of dried fruits. Dry finish. No room for error with a Kolsch and this is a bit of a mess.
