(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 30 Aug 2019) Dark red colour with frothy, pink head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of cherries, almonds and red fruit. Fruity, tart taste with cherries, red berries, raspberries, almonds and a dry and slightly tart finish. Medium body, dry. Not quite as complex as the best lambics, but fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Bottle. Barrel 40% Sauternes and 60% White Wine according to the label. Color: Hazy orange amber, no head. Aroma: Moderate tart, vinuous, fruity stonefruit and grapes, subtle funk. Taste: Medium sour, moderate sweet, light bitterness. Some wild yeast funk, some acidic vinegar notes, fruity notes of sour lemon, white grapes, some grapeskin and tannins, hints of stone fruit and herbal hints. Medium body, low carbonation. Nice complexity, nice wild ale, but a think it would have been a little better with a less sourness.

Sergey's hunt, bottle
Black colour, oily, no head. Strong aroma of spirit, whiskey, molasses. Burning alcohol, strong flavour of burnt sugar, roasted almonds, whiskey, coffee.
A lot going on, but quite uncoordinated.

Black colour, no head. Brown sugar, vanilla, bourbon, some molasses; it's quite deep, but also the alcohol is quite strong.
Very good.
