2004 draught @ Woodcliff Lodge Hotel in Spencerport, NY. Pours a good- colored moderately deep orange, with some foamy light yellow head. Aroma has some pretty decent caramel malting, notes of grainy-nuttiness. Flavor is much better than I was expecting from this usual dismal tasting brewery. Pretty clean, some yeast in the middle with a good caramel flavor; not overdone with hops. Medium bodied, lightly creamy mouthfeel after it has warmed/breathed.

Winter 2002 on tap at the brewery/restaurant. Very pale gold, almost a darker greenish-yellow tinge. Small white head. Forgettable and almost forgotten flavor is boring, quite sour and watery. Light body. This was along time ago, I want to try it again, I think this brewery has improved since.

Nice pale orange colour, insanely blueberry smell! Great blueberry taste, not much else though! (This rating is from early in November 2002 found on my palm) I'll add more to this later if they have it on tap again!

Hazy amber colour with a nice white head. Sweet aroma of toffee with malt and even noticeable hops. Medium-bodied; Slight vinegary flavour with a malt background and a mild sweetness. Aftertaste a bit bittered from the hops - not even detected in the taste. Overall, not a good beer, but not bad. I had this beer on draught at the brewpub in Rochester, New York on 11-October-2003.

Dark brown colour with a thin light brown head. Fantastic aroma consisting of roasted malt, chocolate and a bit of coffee. Medium-bodied; Very watery; Decent roasted malt flavour-none of the other complexities noticed in the aroma. Aftertaste has some of the malt, but is dry and bland. Overall, a decent smelling and looking beer, but not great tasting! I had this beer on draught at the brewpub in Rochester, New York on 11-October-2003.

Rohrbach's Brewpub (Draught):
Amber colour with absolutely no head. Bright-fragrant hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with a great malt balance. Aftertaste bittered from the hops...fairly nice. Overall, a good beer, much better than the first tasting (see below). The batch at the Old Toad is currently not worth tasting. I had this beer on draught at the brewpub in Rochester, New York on 11-October-2003.

Old Toad (Draught):
Copper colour with a very thin white head. Malty aroma with a VERY strong vinegary aroma...not pleasant! Medium-bodied; Strong flavour filled with aggressive malt - very medicinal and the vinegary flavour propogates to the flavour. Aftertaste displays noticeable alcohol and some malt and bittering characteristics. Overall, not great and not reccomended! I had this pint on draught at the Old Toad in Rochester, New York on 09-October-2003.
