On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow with small white head. The aroma is wheat and citrus. Thin body, wheat, citrus, melon, light bitterness, good.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

Draft: Poured a burgundy brown with a off white bubble head. Aroma was hoppy with strong malts. Taste was malty with some edgy hops.

[1/30/16] Draught at Sprengers Tap Room in Santa Rosa. Clear golden. Aroma of oniony fruity hops. Flavor has some sweet malt, bitter oniony and fruity hops, and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied.

Keg at the brewpub, 04/02/16. Pale golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is melon, tangerine, toasted malt, straw. Taste comprises floral notes, leafy hops, grain, straw, faint orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Keg at the brewpub, 04/02/16. Murky toilet water brown with a moderate tan splash that dissipates edgeward. Nose is sweet malt, Chocolate, toffee, dark fruit rinds, light wood. Taste comprises toasted malt, sweet stuff. Chocolate, grain, biscuit crumble, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a faint bourbon streak. Not great .... sweet and directionless.

Draught at Fogbelt. Hazy brown liquid with small light tan head. Aroma of coffee, light ash, raw sugar and chocolate. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of grain, coffee and raw sugar. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite sweet.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds pithy lemon, grapefruit, light dry wheat, straw. Light sweet flavor with notes of lemon peel, grainy wheat, bitter grass, melon. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with some bitter grain husk, more lemon peel, crispy wheat. Pretty so so.

Keg at the brewpub, 04/02/16. Amber copper with a decent beige covering. Nose is biscuit malt, candied fruit peel, caramel, light hop. Taste comprises sweet malt, red grapefruit, candyfloss, caramel, light mineral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent enough for style.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours cloudy brown with a creamy beige head. The aroma has a bit of muted roast, earth, faint cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with notes of doughy brown bread, tobacco, chocolate, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary chocolate on the finish, some ashy roast, burnt toffee. Not bad.
