Tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours amber in a bright way with a near white head. Tropical aroma with caramel. Full bodied. Maltier than expected. Floral/tropical flavors with enough malt to show sweetness. Heat is hard to detect. Smooth and flavorful, tho the flavors aren't extreme. Good stuff.

Tasting at Matt's, can
Hazy amber color. Light malt aroma. Malty and grainy base, strong bitterness, simple hop qualities.
Not the IIPA you'd expect from California.

Amber-brown, a bit dull, with a touch of haze. No head. The aroma has some caramelized malts, with a mild piney hop note. Sweet fruity taste - the hops come across with something like lychee, pear and plum. The malts are a touch chewy. It's odd, because it comes across quite sweet. Not sure what to think about this.

500mL can, pours a hazy amber orange with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is very herbal in the hop department, a touch of woody pine, and biscuity malt - strange. Flavour is bizarre and off-kilter, with vegetal notes, herbal hops, and sweet bready malt. Something is wrong here - this didn't go well. Bad.

Can from Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours translucent orange gold with a slight white head. Aroma is floral/citrus. Med body. Flavor is floral citrus, a bit of very slightly roasty malt, and some pale stone fruit, and arguably some tropical. A fun IPA. Not wholly dry, and reasonably, pleasingly bitter.

Can from Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours orange gold with a creamy white head. A bit fizzy. Aroma of citrus and something like mint. Med body - due to significant carbonation. Flavor is slightly roasty malt, citrus, and something herbal - mint? Whatever, this is pretty dry ale, and it’s nicely bitter. Very bitter - I’m just not sure where the bitter comes from. Back to something herbal? I’m liking it.
