Keg at the brewpub, 01/02/16. Murky amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is bourbon infused, rich fruits, spice, sharp berries, wood must. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, sharp fruit tang, bourbon lighter than the nose, spice, damp wood, toffee, berry fruit linger. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but doesn't really pull in any particular direction ... American Strong, Spice Herb Veg and a sour all rolled into one ... rather muddled !

Keg at the brewpub, 01/02/16. Rich amber pour with a decent beige cap. Nose is orange squash, citric tinged straw, pithy citrics, pine resin. Taste comprises bitter tropical fruits, straw, toasted grains, orange pith, light pine coating, grapefruit. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Passable DIPA but nothing I'd look to revisit.

2015 autographed bomber a gift from Furiousdman. Nose is light spices with a moderate funky note. Until I read the label description I thought it was a brett ale. Obviously the bottle had some brett somehow. Not bad as a wild ale but I wished for a bunch of bourbon barrel.

Can. Pours hazy orange, medium off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is oranges, hints of green tea, pine, melon. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, some lingering bitterness. Too sweet, but not a bad underlying flavor profile. Ok, I just read the description on the can. Pale straw color? Either somebody can't read an SRM meter or something odd happened to this beer between writing that and putting the product in a can.
