Keg at Orsted Olbar. It pours lightly hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is barnyard, dirt, manure, musty, orange peel and sherbet. The taste is earthy, hay, light brett, toast, hay, light spice, citrus peel and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty tasty stuff. Interesting and well balanced.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, Cafe Abseits Tasting bottle thanks to Andreas Andy Snow #029/500, 25/01/14. Vibrant cherry red with a moederately sized off white covering. Nose is punchy berry fruit, soured berries, bitter raspberry, tarte blackcurrant, dank straw, earthy. Taste comprises bitter red bery fruit mash up, lactic tang, soured blackcurrants, musty tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying finish. Decent enough sour, lots of fruit and not too dank to be top of the pile, but a good effort none the less.

Bottled. An unclear yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of horseblanket, lemons, yeast, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, horseblanket, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish. Unfortunately I can’t detect the seabuckthorn.

Bøgedal Nr. 0370cloudy light yellow, small wihte head. aroma is yeasty, mild citrussy and spicy, faint herbal. flavor is sourish, citrussy, quite complex, nice sourness, quite low on bitterness. (7,3,8,3,16). why did my bøgedal end up here.. anyway, rerate. cludy yellow, small white head. Complex aroma, sour, soapy, citrussy, fermentation fumes. Flavor is a lot like fermented apples, this could probably be mistaken from a sidra natural of the more sour kind. so flavor is citrussy, sourish, fruity notes, very frefreshing, and very easy drinking. tasty wild ale for sure.

75 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is peachy, citrusy and grapefruity. Bretty. Citrusy and lingering peachy into a smooth fruity finish. Mild bretty lasting impression, rather fruity.

Bottle @ The Rover. Pours hazy dark brown with a rather small frothy brownish beige head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and tiny funky with caramel, sweet dark bread, prunes, hay, St Johns wort, moist soil, leather and barnyard. Taste is bitter, malty and tiny funky with dark bread, caramel, moist soil, wood, lemon zest, sheet metal, orange peal, leather and St Johns wort. Mouthfeel is tiny crisp, tiny watery, slightly astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter and tiny sour with dark bread, leather, moist soil, lemon zest and barnyard. Not what I had hoped for at all.

Bottle at Cafe Abseits. Tasting. Deep red colour lasting pink head. Strong blackcurrant jam aroma. Some sourness. It’s good. Aroma is outstanding.

330 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a rather fast disappearing white head. Aroma has yeast, spices, fruit and a hint of caramel. Flavor has sweet malt, caramel, fruity yeast and unfortunately a hint of acetone. Medium body and some bitterness in aftertaste. A very straight forward beer with some off flavors. Suppose the Brettanomyces might have gone wrong somewhere. It’s still drinkable, but quite boring.

Bottle. Pours an amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy ginger and caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy caramel flavor with hints of ginger and cinnamon. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel finish.

Bottle no 124 , thnx to dennoman Pours like a white, very fuzzy . Smells cheesy, funky but not sour Rather high carbo . Dry , some sweetness, in an organic way . Some funk . Not much aftertaste . Dry finish ..
