Black with medium brown head. Aroma is honey, flowers, some chocolate, wood. Taste is a bit spicy with bitter chocolate and phenolic spices, sour as well. Medium drinkable. Still nice.

Tap. Black color with nice beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, boozy, hoppy, peanuts. Taste is boozy, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some hops. Quite nice!

Tap. Deep orange-copper color with eggshell head. Aroma is concentrated hop syrup, orange nectar. Taste is again exactly how you’d expect an eisbocked version of the Eden. Oily and sticky mouthfeel. Nice stuff - but sticky!

Spritziger, hopfig malziger Antrunk. Vollmundig, weich bitter, leicht herb. Würziger Mittelteil, vollmundig, gut. 10/11/11/11//11

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange color with nice eggshell head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, spruce, herbal. Taste is bready, earthy hops, citrus. Finishes rather dry. Light-bodied, maybe even a bit watery, with natural carbonation. Quite atypical for an IPA, it feels lieblich and light-bodied and still has an earthy hop character.It's been a few years since I've rated this, so now let's rate the Wimmer-brewed one. Zwickeled by Bryan and Bottle, many thanks Max! A distinct bready caramel malt character, punchy resinous hops, earthy too. Taste is a bit rustic, toasted malts, caramel. Bitter finish, almost warming in the back. A bit foamy carbonation. Solid and almost old school German, I would say. 709/

(bottle, 33cl) Quite black coloured hue with a firm and thick tanned foamy head. Mildly roasted malty aroma with notes of licquorice, leather, spices, violets and hints of chocolate. Moderately roasty bitter flavour, medium bodied with a modest, slightly prickly carbonation. Moderately roasted malt character with earthy notes, wheaty accents, dark chocolate and traces of licquorice; rather dry and mildly roasty bitter finish with a delicately malty sweetness and mildly spicy hops shining through. Uncommon Stout, not bad. 20.I.17

Bottle (thanx to joss!):Almost black, bigger stable and creamy tanned head; moderate sweet-bitter nose of roasted malt, dark malt and caramel and a tinge of vanilla, maybe dark chocolate, too; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, creamy MF; lingering bitter-sweet finish, still roasty and malty, increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Wow! An unexpected gem from good old Bavaria...

Bottle. Big hop nose, pine and herb notes. Cloudy brown, offwhite creamy. Chocolate and roast, dry, light dark sugar. Light soapy big hop finish. Exiting.

0,1l from tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien shared through 3. black color, rather big coffee-colored head. smells lightly acidic, light cucumber, earthy, light glueish, overall nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, earthy, light cucumber again, some dill, spices. finishes lightly roasty with notes of licorice and cucumber notes. decent sour / cucumber notes are a bit weird but overall still quite enjoyable.
