Nice enough stuff. Not quite as much soy sauce as youβd normally expect from these things. Got that cheesy mushroom type umami thing you expect in the aroma. Like it!

Bottle from Johns. Pours a murky dark brown hue with a small white head. A big sweet barrel, clear shochu. Oxidation, sweetness, dusty tobacco, cherries, sweet barrel. Sour cherries too. OK. Not quite enough to hold up to the barrel.

Tap at Keyaki. Creamy, wheaty, does what you'd expect. Alright, but not really the refreshment I might hope for. Although possibly not so surprising.

Tap. Muscat dominates, little bit of beer in the background. Aroma has a bit of wet cardboard and the muscat of course. Taste is grapes, sweet, light graininess. Better than I thought it would be though!

Bottle. Seems like a bit of a mix between a german and a belgian wheat beer. Has the creaminess and a bit of bananas that you might expect from a Hefeweizen, but also is quite spritzy and has a bit of lemon and minerals in there. Little bit of sourness. A pleasant surprise as some of their other beers haven't been for me really.

Bottle at home, thanks Kosuke. Clear golden colour, small white head that soon fades. Aroma is sweet maltiness, grainy, bit of bubblegum too. Taste is ok. bit sweet again, like sweetshop sweets, slight citrus bitterness at the finish. Having had a sip of their peach pils I feared the worst, but this is perfectly ok.
