Very smooth finish for an IPA. One of the better ines I've had.

Bottle at the cabin in New Hampshire. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds dark raspberry, chocolate, light roast. Lightly sweet flavour with hints of metal, ashy bitterness, faint chocolate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and ashy on the finish, with bitter scorched earth, more metallic notes, subtle tangy berries, dry milk chocolate. Mediocre.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Grapefruit aromas. Lemon joy upfront turning to sourdough and hot caramel in the lasting finish.

A golden DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light honey notes, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at CNY Brewfest 2016.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a huge foamy yellow-white bead that lingered forever and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was dryish, musty, chalky and had a perfume note. The flavor was dry, bitter, musty and yeasty with a strong perfume presence. Very long finish. Medium body. Not good.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark Amber color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that lingered forever and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was bitter with vague fruit. The flavor was bitter with faint vague peach, sour malts and cardboard. Short finish. Medium body. Disappointing.
