From a can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aromas are raspberries. Flavors are slightly sweet and a little tart with lemon dominating.

Can from the Whole Foods in downtown ATX - pours dark brown, nearly black - roasted maltiness, moderate chocolate, moderate alcohol warmth and some dark fruit - it tastes good, but is not terribly complex and has a watery finish.

Lots of Tupps beers showing up locally these days. Tonight I have a 12 oz can of Evil Dankster that I acquired yesterday at the neighborhood HEB. I have the Great Heights snifter receiving the pour, a clear, gold body with a moderate head of almost white foam. The smell is somewhat dank as advertised along with some sweetish citrus. A drink is strongly ruby-red grapefruit, white bread, malt and a bit of honey. Enough bitterness to make a mention. Not a bad beer, I like it mostly because it is obviously a throwback IPA.

12 oz can from the cross-town beer shop. I'm seeing more of the Tupps offerings lately, mostly all right by me. I have the Great Heights snifter in place to hold the pour this evening, the view is a clear light gold body followed by a tall head of creamy white foam. I smell grapefruit as promised and cedar pine. The drink is respectable, definitely throwback. The grapefruit shows up of course, plenty of hops, lemon, grass and strongly bitter with a bit of marmalade sweetness. Not life changing but this is a solid IPA.

Flying Saucer DFW airport draught, 2/15/23. Mod hazy, bronze-maize, small, white head, good retention. Juicy citra and honey and cracker from the malt. Clean, no resin. Soft juicy, very carbonated, moderately sweet. Lots of Citra. Pretty straightforward, low bitterness but fairly ample. A bit sluggish and thick tasting where I'd like crisp and more bitter. But clean enough and the hops aren't too skimpy.

12 oz. can from HEB in San Antonio, TX. Merry Christmas! Pours a semi-clear gold color with a fizzy khaki head and fair retention. Almost no lacing. Spiced aroma. Spiced flavor to match the nose. No particular spice stands out. Kind of a mish-mash of spices with muddy results. Nothing bad, but nothing I would seek out either. Medium body. Below average carbonation. Low bitterness. Okay.

12 oz. can from HEB in San Antonio, TX. Pours a cloudy gold color with a white head and good retention. Fair lacing. Strong grapefruit and pineapple aroma. The flavor follows the nose. Grapefruit flavor dominates with the pineapple showing up in the dry finish. Medium bitterness, subdued by the juicy notes. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Good for the style.

My 12 oz can came from one of the local HEB supermarkets with a stamp on the bottom of 06/27/2022. Calls itself For Ella Imperial IPA, just pointing out. A tulip glass ready to receive the pour, I determine an opaque, mostly orange liquid with a stout, tannish white head that clings to the glass. The scent is attractive, some hoppiness, fruit and grain. And the taste is likewise decent. Caramel, ripe yellow fruit, pine, citrus, bread and a bit of 420. Nicely bitter set off by a small sweetness. Straightforward, you get what you get.
