75cl bottle from the producer. 7% ABV. Pours clear gold, flat. Delicately light apple pie sweetness on the nose. Flavour profile presents a clean, mild apple profile, extremely light acidity, finishing a little airy, dry and a touch watery. Not a lot going on here.

25cl pour @ Obsthoff am Steinberg, Frankfurt. Hazed gold pour. Biting acidity, a little sour, pure fruit character.. simplistic house scrumpy.. nice. There was a fella behind us who'd just polished off a litre plastic tub of this behind us looking a bit worse for ware. Reminded me of myself in my younger years!

25cl pour @ Obsthoff am Steinberg, Frankfurt. Misty gold, slightly sour pure fruit scrumpy nose. Cutting acidity to taste, brief honey touch, crunchy skin.. apple core.. but expected a lot more depth of flavour given the high price, fairly straightforward scrumpy feel overall.

2015 bottling. Deep apple nose, acid, tannins, skin, fruit. All cylinders hitting. Golden orange, flat. Tart, nice dry fruit, good tannins for a German cider. Well balanced and elegant, with some wood and a touch of funk. Interesting and tasty.

Bottle pout at Lorsbacher Thal. Soft apple nose, minerals, lmone. MEdium gold, lightly sparkling. Quite sweet, mineralls, dries out, though, with skin-like tannins and some lemon. Low acidity.

5/8/2018. 0.1l pour at Lorsbacher Thal, Frankfurt. Pours clear dark gold with a light carbonation but no head. Aroma of caramel, citrus and sweet apples. Medium plus sweetness, light bitters and sour. Moderate body, slight sticky texture, average carbonation.
