Nice lightish brown coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Mild aroma (no pun) of malt, light caramel and a touch of nuts. Medium-bodied; Assertive roasted malt with some light pitted fruits and a minor bit of vanilla. Aftertaste is pretty subdued with only sugars coming through and perhaps a touch of malt and nuts. Overall, a pretty unoffensive beer and one that shows relatively well - not bad by any means, just not sublime. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased a few days earlier at Sherbrooke Liquors in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, sampled at the Banff Springs hotel in Banff, Alberta on 30-December-2008.

On tap at the Alibi Room. Aroma of peaches, as the name would suggest. Medium bodied, light mouthful, peach flavour. Not bad.

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for sharing - very clear dark amber beer - aroma of chocolate syrup, tart cherries, a tiny bit of roast, some metallic qualities - smells cheap and adjunct-laden - the flavor is a bit better, but fairly bland - a touch of roast, chalky character, cocoa, some cherry on the end - kind of vegetal - meh.

Blond color. It has some aroma of old Lager, dry mouthfeel, not much flavor, a grainy touch, correct bitterness. Boring.

Bottle. Grassy, light roast and chocolate malt aroma. Dark cola looks with low brown cream, plentifull carbonation. Good roast and chocolate entry, falls a bit flat after that, medium to light body, grassy hops (Hallertau I would say), nutty retronasal with a light citric finish. Fresh, needs a bit more staying power to make a lasting impression though.

A golden lager with a very thin white head. Aroma of synthetic peaches and cream corn, with light maple notes. In mouth, an astringent peach, raspy, with an unpleasant mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Blahhh...
