On tap @ the brewery. A touch hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma has a bit of corn, some cat piss, lemon, and noodles. Moderate high carbonation. A bit chewy. Creamed corn, tang, grass flavor. Ehhh.

Taster at the brewery - nicely done variation on the base beer - still smooth, creamy, and relatively dry for the style and abv - moderate smoke - dark chocolate, espresso - grape juice adds a moderate tannic character and a little additional acidity - finish and chocolate-covered cherries and espresso beans, some prune and raisin - tasty.

Pint at the brewery - lightly hazy orange - nose of earthy, almost musky citrus, a little dankess, melon rind - flavor is.medium dry, complex earthy maltiness, followed by strong but not abrasive bitterness that is bolstered well by the dry, earthy malt character - some notes of scotch and a little bit of cherry on the tail end - nicely done.

Tap at the brewery - I entered this as an IPA rather than a DIPA as that is how the brewery markets it - hazy gold - well-executed - dank and intensely tropical nose - clean sweetness - dank hopiness - a lot of tropical fruit - strong bitterness but not heavy or abrasive - grapefruit and musky pineapple finish - solid.

Tap at the brewery - excellently balanced imperial stout - good balance of sweet and dry - chocolate and smoke - prune and raisin - slick texture - a bit of roast and some tannic character - light alcohol warmth - will definitely be a repeat order.

Tap at the brewery - basically just the st. Thomas with cherry juice - the juice dulls the complex yeast esters and phenolics and adds a bit of sweetness - however, it adds a nice natural cherry complexity - sweet flesh and tart skins - some red wine character - a little yeast spiciness remains - a little dull and blurry, but otherwise fine.

Tap at the brewery - seems like they were going for a Westmalle clone here in that it is a drier, spicier rendition with some strong earth/basement - there is some sweet raisin and prune on the approach, but then the malt character gets a bit more dry and toasty - some dustiness leads to moderately spicy phenolics late, and a mild tartness/tannic character - a slight metallic tang, but pretty good.

Tap at the brewery - the yeast is out of control in this one - huge abrasive peppery/spicy phenolics that practically burn the tongue - heavy clove and white pepper - a bit of plastic - some sweet notes of melon and apple late, but nothing will balance that yeast - abrasive finish with surprisingly high bitterness - despite my rating, I taste a lot of potential here - just have to reign in that yeast.

Tap at the brewery - a little husky and overly bitter, but with a nice dry flintiness and dusty and peppery yeast - some ginger and sweet melon on the tail balance the bitterness sonewhat - needs to be cleaned up - smells a little skunky.
