can. Clear pale yellow with a small fizzy white head that quickly dissipates to zero. The aroma is mild with sweet apples. The taste follows the nose with sweet apples. There is also a bit of acidity which works to counteract the sweetness. The palate is a bit thin and watery. Finishes short. Overall: decent, but there are better options. Worth noting that the honeycrisp apple has never been one of my favorite apples. I prefer Fuji, Macintosh and Gala.

Bottle from Press online. A month in the chilly basement, a couple days in the fridge. Mojito glass @home. Clear, medium amber-gold, quick soda sizzle. Baked apples nose. Pith, butter, saline, grass, woody age. Taste is Dabinett but it's sweeter & juicier. More unusual is the slight tartness & aged lemon, Wickson-like varnish twang. Usual woody note. Not anywhere as tannic as cool temp Dabinett, which is a little sad. Slight onion sweetness on the tail. I'm guessing the west coast temps make this apple grown a bit more concentrated & fruitier. Sticky, caramelized sweet, lacquered, medium acidity, medium-low tannins, prickly-low carbonation, boozy-ish, heavy, slight sulfite headache. Tasty to great cider but I was preparing myself for a completely different cottonmouth experience. I would have guessed this was a blend.

375ml corked & cage from Press. Cidery listing should probably be spun off or updated. Lo-ball @home. Clear, medium gold, strong & quick fizz. Sharp varnish, leathery, pepper & lime, heavy faux oak & macerated sugar nose. Unnecessary banana & clove. Bittersharp & sweet. Lime, leaf mulch, plastic. Mott's sweetness. Minerally. Light but noticeable banana ester. Sharp, crispy, slick, acidic enough but mostly about crazy sharpness. A touch medicinal but still hits most of the Wickson notes. Hard apple to screw up. Have had way better though.

12oz can from HomeBrewStuff. Pink, fizzy pour, clear. Aroma is a cherry cough lozenge, medicinal bits and all. Taste is cherry hard candy and tart apple. Starts with a big pucker and doesn't relent. Fast finish.

375 bottle caged and corked. Light gold pour with a small white head that quickly fizzes away to a fine ring. The aroma is big with fresh pear and apple notes. The taste, follows the aroma, with pears, apples grapes and more pears--somewhat sweet really. Zero bitterness, but there is some mild rind spiciness that offsets the sweetness. Palate is full and viscous. Finishes long and semi sweet. Overall: Nice.
