Dark amber / light ruby with fast disappearing head. Subtle nose: floral with caramel, dark bread. Strong caramel and bread taste notes too, full bodied medium carbonation, tastes boozy. Long dark malts and dry bitter finish. Interesting see it is made out of old bread and sesame. Good but the finish is a bit too malty: more hops would have made this better IMO.

Tap at BGB with Gurthnar. Bit hazy yellow-golden body, off-white head. Almost dank herbal, citric, pinrapple hoppy aroma, on a decent light sweetish malty background. Soft, flat, lean, dry taste, mainly strong herbal notes mixing with pineapple, medium herbal dull hoppy bitterness. Okay.

Dark amber nearly clear, with quickly dissipating head. Restrained piney nose with apricot and some pineapple notes. Solid texture, good carbonation.Citrus piney up front staying towards the mid range. Lingering hoppy bitterness. More a pale than an IPA. Maybe just about an IPA. Drinkable but not exciting.

Almost clear pale yellow with a quickly and thoroughly dissipating head. Caramel on the nose, pear drops, slightly oaky, kandi sugar, toast, coriander. Almost Belgian. Very slight vegetal background hint. Nice if a little thin on the palette. Again caramel, vanilla, pear, slight sweetness. Nice up to mid range but falls off leaving a slightly watery impression. The hops remain noticeable. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Yellow-ish, golden colour with lots of tiny floaters and average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow white head. Floral hoppy and slightly spicy, minimally grainy, pale malty aroma, hints of petals, a touch of protein. Taste is slightly grainy, spicy and minimally husky, pale malty and bitter, floral, minimally soapy hoppy, hints of petals, some protein.
Oily-watery texture, smooth, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, dense, prickly carbonation.
Intense, spicy and hoppy - not bad.

Bottled 330ml. -from Die Bierothek Bamberg. Hazy pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, peachy nose. Peachy, fruity, rice, light herbal and sweetish finish. Bit watery and sweet.
