Bottle. The beer foams like a mad dag. Grapefruit and vanilla in the aroma. Grapefruit, flowery hops and vanilla in the flavor. The first signs of infection, yet tasty and not without quality. Earthy hopbitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Golden color, cloudy. Traubenzucker and yeast in the nose. Vulgar yeasty, slightly hoppy flavor with yoghurt. Possibly the first signs of infection. Slightly sulphury. Disappointing. A later sample, tasted from a swing top bottle proved to be infected again.

Bottle. Orange brown color, cloudy. Lemon, dust and a hint of leather in the aroma. Flowery citric hopbitter flavor with tannines, bitter walnuts, oak and glue. Rubber in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Ugly blonde, totally cloudy appearance. Yeasty aroma with pineapple notes. Yeasty flavor, walnut bitter with pineapple and melon. Nasty yeasty and vegetable bitter aftertaste. Touch of alcohol. I’m not impressed. 4/24/2007 Tasted as ’Strakke Rakker’: Bottle. orange color. Light orange aroma. Orange flavor, slightly alcoholic. Sweet and sugary. Slightly yeasty aftertaste. 6 3 6 2 11 = 2.8

Swing top bottle. Dark brown color. Maltaroma with caramel and soft spicy notes. Speculaas. Full bodied. Malty sweet flavor with hints of roast, pear drups and speculaas. The massive alcohol is hidden behind the even more massive sweetness.
