Hazy light-golden colour with a white cap, good stay and good lacing. Citrus nose with some light sweetness and spices, starting off like a witbier. Then, the herbal grassiness appears with some graininess as well. Flavours are citrusy with the herbs. Slightly tarty with some good dry bitterness in the finish.

Pours a hazed light-golden colour with loads of unfiltered particles. Big white head, great retention and thick foamy lacing. Fresh hop aromas with grass notes and grapefruit zest. Citrus peel again in the taste. Good bitterness getting stronger as it lingers. Not much of the witbier character. Maybe a little Belgian yeast. Wish there was more of this style blended in this one. Still, a nice unfiltered IPA.

This West Coast IPA pours a slight hazy, light-golden, with a warm cap, good retention and nice lacing. Herbal and grassy with hints of citrus, sugars, pines. The taste is malty with some nice bitterness in the finish, which is not super long. Some grain, some caramel notes with some light tropical fruits. Not a bad brew, but nothing too special.

Draft: Poured a clear amber color Bock. Aroma of sweet caramelized malt with light cereal notes. Taste is also a mix of cereal and caramelized malt with quite a bit of residual sugar notes. Body is about average with OK carbonation. More sweet then I was expecting but not too bad overall.

Dark yellow. One finger head. Smells like rice and hops. Taste is thick, sweet, almost like. Stella or Budweiser. Not great

Cannette 473ml.

Crisp, very hazy golden coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall pure white head that leaves an ugly lace. Aroma of pale malt, dry grain, light hops, some sugars and a good dose of fresh coriander seed and wheatie freshness. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive dry and herbal flavours at first with a bright tropical fruit and grassy hop bite showing a lot of nice bitterness and a smooth wheatie and curacao flavour along with a good deal of coriander seed. Aftertaste is mellow, yet very dry, with a nice hop bitterness and a smooth wheatie flavour on the end with some yeast noticeable, but smooth and subtle. Overall, a nice White IPA with a good hop bite and smooth easy-drinking quality that make this nice for the style and from a Canadian brewery making a real IPA! I sampled this 473 mL can purchased from Au Coin Duluth in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 18-September-2016 for CA$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on the first day at 90 degrees Fahrenheit for the year on 29-April-2017.

Good guinnessy head and black velvet body (black velvet if you pleez...). Charred coffee on the nose, charcoal and smoke but not in an appetizing way. Flavour is a soft and bitter burnt barley that finishes too sharp. Drinkable but needs tweaking.

Sharp hoppy flavour with a golden body and modest head. Flavour is more hops and nothing else. Good for a porch or something. Spring barbeque I’m thinking.

Middling soft caramel aroma and a no head clear brown body thing going on. Sweet grain and honey flavour. Medium finish. I didn’t find much to like about this one.
