On tap at Billie's Craft Beer Festival. A typical Nøgne Ø Barley Wine, vinous, warming, complex, tasteful. Will probably benefit from some time in the cellar. Roasted malt notes, dark dried fruit, brown sugar, oak notes, leather and tobacco hints, bitterness and sweetness. All quite balanced, for the style and ABV of course. Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of fruit and malt, and touches of citrus. Bitter flavour of hops and citrus, with sweetish notes of yeast and malt, and round, fruity touches. Bitter and citric aftertaste with estery and malty touches. Decent.
