Merevaigu värvi õlu. Magus, mõru, karamell, viljane, laagrine, tistrust ka. Ausalt öeldes arvaks, et mingi laagri ja pale ale hübriid.. Ok.

Dark ruby red approaching black. Finely porous head. Nice aroma, malty toffee, chocolate, dark blackberry cordial, dark bread. Very malty, touch of sweetness in the mouth. Bit of indistinct hoppiness. Blackberry malty aftertaste. Very drinkable, better than most of the traditional german bocks (Böcke?) that I have tasted.

Röstig, malzig, leicht alkoholig, Spuren von Traubensaft. Eher auf der süßen Seite, ab dem Mittelteil kommen aber auch schön bittere Noten durch. Recht süffig für einen Bock. Gut.

Bottle from the Kalea Adventskalenders, courtesy of Peggy. Dark brown with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of toffee, rye bread, and cherry soda. Taste is mildly sweet with a mild bitterness arising at the finish. Definitely malt driven. Body to the fuller side of medium, moderate carbonation. Decent stuff.

Bottle from the Kalea advent calendar 2019. Almost black beer thin beige head. Some chocolate and a little booze on the aroma. Some yeast character. Some light chocolate flavour. Hides ABV quite well. A malty beer. Some bitterness on the finish . OK.

Top notch world-class black lager. Full and a bit bigger with the high abv, but doesn’t show it other than the full mouth coating goodness. 2019 bad santa bier advent kalendar
