12 oz. bottle from mj. Pour is a slightly cloudy amber with a 1 inch somewhat off white head. Aroma is initially sweet biscuit malt with some lemony citrus hops. Taste mirrors the nose, and is a nice balance between the slightly sweet malt and citrusy hops. Finish reveals a touch of grapefruit peel, and was the least pleasant part of the beer. Overall, a nice sessionable IPA. Thanks Mike!

Courtesy of Quake1028. Pours fairly dark but not opaque with dark brown head. The aroma is light with a mixture of roasty malts, burnt malts, faint wood and hints of fruity esters. The taste starts roasty and chocolaty. It becomes both sweet and burnt malts by midway. Into the finish a faint spice hoppiness shows up for a moment before more chocolate malts join back in along with a mild oatmeal twang and malt roastiness.

Bottle sample. Hazy amber with a white head. Floral hoppy nose with a bit of citrus, some malt and a bit of caramel. Flavor starts with some sweet malt and a bit of caramel, then turns to bitter hoppiness with slight hints of grapefruit. Medium-bodied. Quite enjoyable, but nothing great.

Slightly darker than the ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Has a hint of pumpkin aroma in the smell along with pumpkin spices but the aroma is mostly just plain beer. Initial taste is somewhat like a dark lager or alt. but that immediately morphs into the taste of an amber ale or APA. There is some pumpkin spice in the flavors and some bitterness is in the forefront. However, it doesnโ€™t start building until you are well into the session. Alt flavors also contihnue thru to the finish. Not bad except for the average bitter bite that is present. IMHO one of the better pumpkin beers. Better and more enjoyable than most. Finish is mild bitter lingering medicine.

Light caramel aroma. Copper/ochre color, thin off white head. The taste is a little woody, but rather weak. A little buttery in the end when warm. Clean and good quality, but just very weak. Wanting in hops. Despite my rating, I like it, I โ€™m just craving more hops in this one. Is there such a thing as a beer apertif???

Bottle. Pours a orangish copper color with a one finger head that dies to a thin frothy coating very quickly. Aromas have a hint of pumpkin, and pie spices and sweet malt flavors. Flavor is about what you would expect... lots of pumpkin pie with all itโ€™s spicy wonder, but then thins fall apart a bit as the overly sweet malt takes over and leaves a bit of a cloying aftertaste that leaves a bit to be desired. Still, itโ€™s pleasant enough even if it does little to separate itself from the growing hoard of pumpkin beers.

As previous people have said, this beer is very subtle. To be honest Iโ€™m happy and disappointed by that. I like how the pumpkin takes a slightly more center stage to the beer unlike so many out there that seem to only use spices with a hint of pumpkin flavor. Nothing overly bad about it, and perhaps will be revisited before the season is over.

Very nice orange ruby color. Quality hard candy aroma. Some noticeable carbonation but fairly flat. Mild refined hop bitterness thatโ€™s less than many pilsners. Finish is slightly wet wood that has a medium length bitter impression.

Bottle. Coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Dark brown with moderat head. Strong coffee and malt flavor with a sharp acidic bite. Moderate carbonation. Very nice flavor but less smooth than the average porter.
