Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, malt, flowers and hops. Sweet finish.

330ml bottle from Proeflokaal De Boom, Alkmaar - Fles Bier van de Maand for February apparently. Messy cloudy body, wispy little head. Nose is coriander, orange peel. Taste is a bitter mish-mash, with a boozy warmth. Not sure what it was trying to achieve.

0.33 l bottle from ’Slijterij VOS’, best before December 2018. Clear, dark reddish brown with a frothy, white head. Sweetish, fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, raisins, prunes, cloves and licorice. Sweetish, malty, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of clove, caramel, nuts, licorice and some raisins, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, but a bit messy and yeasty.

33cl bottle. Leicht trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Gewürzen, dunkles süßes malz. Geschmack nach maggie, Gewürze, dunkles malz.

Bottle at home, dark brown beer, small head. Aroma is raisins, dark fruit, malt. Taste is the same, small hint of coffee and chocolate, cant find the liquorice... overall average quadrupel-ish but drinkable.

Bottle split at ABC Beer The Hague, 24/09/2015. Thanks. Aroma is grainy oxidised malts, cardboard, straw and apple. A orange / straw coloured pour with a lasting white head. Flavour is composed of spicy apple, light grainy m,alts, more oxidation. Palate is grainy moderate carbonation. ok.

Bottle split at ABC Beer The Hague, 24/09/2015. Thanks. Hazed golden coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is grainy malts, little honey, grassy. Flavour is composed of gassy, mineral, assertive hop. Palate is very highly carbonated, prickly, thin.
