(Bottle) Mahogany colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, figs, dates, brown sugar, chocolate, caramel, apricot marmalade and spices. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, figs, dates, apricot marmalade, brown sugar, chocolate, caramel, dark bread and a fairly low spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite sweet. Complex, well made and well balanced quadrupel. Very nice.

Bottle 250ml @ Cunningham. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruit and toffee. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, toffee, caramel and dried fruity finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

On tap at Bishops Arms Vasagatan. Dark golden with a white head. Malt, bread, light nuts and notes of caramel. Soft bitterness. A pleasant one.

Draught@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. (backlog). Deep brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some coffee, roasted and mild smoky tones with a bit herbal tones. Flavour is rather sweet malts, mild smoke, some roasted tones, but leaves quite thin as for the mouthfeel. A bit cheapo and bulky feel to it.
