Draught at Hagges Bärsklubb. The year-round beer from one of Sweden’s smallest breweries. Only available on a few pubs. Copper coloured. Intensive, slightly citrusy, hop roma. Light bodied, sparkling mouthfeel, fresh tasting. Finishes really bitter. Very drinkable but still flavourful. [br][br] Bedarö Goes Crazy, dry hopped cask only version at Olivert Twist. Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Amber colour. Extrovert concentrated grapefruit aroma. Dry, with light-medium body and vital rounded mouthfeel. Dominated by fresh hoppiness, still well balanced. Lovely perfumy hop bitterness. A superb pint. 9/4/9/4/16

Dark black with rich very creamy head. Loads of coffe in the aroma. At 3.8% this is the session beer in the brewery's range. Light bodied for a stout, but soft and slightly roasty.

The 2001 version I tried cask conditioned was nut brown and hazy. It was mildly sweetish, rather thick and malty and moderately bitter. A good, interesting and refreshing seasonal.

The cask conditioned sample I had of the 2002 version was nut brown with a short, fruity nose, abrubptly interrupted by a somewhat harsh lingering big dry bitterness. This version is definitely more well hopped tha previous years. It is also by far the most bitter mild I've ever tried, as well as sthe strongest one as it clocks in at about 6%.

sampled draught at Hagges Bärsklubb, Nynäshamn.
This is a very occasional brew, and they are still working on the recipe, as the eqipment they are using i snot suited for altbier. Courtesy of heavy carbonistaion it takes the forever to pour it, and it comes out with a rich head and beautiful deep ruby colour. The aroma is reminiscent of fresh yellow plums. The flavour is deep and fruity. It is really malty , and lightly salty with soft, cottonlike mouthfeel. The finsih is sweet and velvetty. IMO the beer is better now than it has been before, buyt it still lacks the intensity of the top examples of the style.
Old rating:
Copper coloured. Dryish, medium bodied. Slightly earthy, a bit lively, balanced bitterness. A good beer, but not my favourite from this brewery (6/376/3/12).

Golden colour with richm firm head. Distinct grassy nose with some bread behind. Dry with firm, crisp mouthfeel and light-medium body. Generous on grassy spicy hops, niecly backed by solid, bready malt. Long bitter finish. My go to beer for summertime drinking. Delicious and moreish. Old rating from-pre Ratebeer A creamy pale lager in the style of a Czechish pilsener. There is a slight hint of bitterness before the saaz hop aroma sets in, after that the bitterness hits you hard. This beer is brutal. The 50 IBU together with a light body makes it a real killer. (8/4873/14)

Gaining from a relatively high alcohol content (6.2%) and generous amounts of hop, this is the biggest beer from the brewery.
