Whiskey and cognac wooden nose. Black hole color, tiny little bubbles, low creamy milk chocolate head with limited stability. Complex flavor profile: Chocolate, orangepeel, cigars, incense, dry whiskeybarrel wood - the barrel tastes are nicely integrated and not overwhelming. Smooth edges, medium to full body, Creamy mouthfeel, lovely sparkling carbonation. Very nice.

Almost black. Strong whisky aroma with coffee, chocolate and sweet malts. Rich, coffeeish flavour - long and assertive without being aggressive. Underlying woody, whiskyish notes. Excellent balance - the barrel-aging perfectly complements the porter, making it better. Easily the best balanced barrel-aged beer. What the others should be striving for.

Light copper colour with rich head. Fruity-hoppy aroma (berry, pear, grapes). Rich hoppy bitterness. Quite dry but still with pale and a maybe a hint of crystal malts underneath. Big lingering bitter finish. Long, hoppy, top quality pils.

Tap Citric, acidic and yeasty aromanotes. Pale straw color, low head. Flowery citrus notes. Lightbodied, a tad flat - sample was not entirely fresh I think.
