Hazy golden color. The aroma is hoppy and yeasty; light fruits. Malt and caramel flavor, medium bodied, the final is a bit harsh, strong bitterness.

Cloudy light amber color; nice creamy cap. The hoppy aroma is floreal, with light fruity notes. The taste is well malty, and even more hoppy, with a lot of hop resins. The final is of course powerful, long and exciting. Very much enjoyable.

Hazy deep blond color. The aroma, hoppy, is actually a bit fruity, dusty and sweaty; nice. Medium bodies, caramel flavor, strong bitterness. A bit harsh, and aggressive, but interesting.

2008-09-26, cask conditioned at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, 7-3-7-4-15=36
Hazy light amber color. Malty aroma, a bit herbal. Round mouthfell, caramel flavor, good bitterness, toffee, light cookies. Interesting.

Hazy, beautiful orange-amber color. Aroma of hops, pine needles and cloves. Some malt, but not enough, dry; strong hopping, a bit astringent (a lot of resins). Strong and long final.

A red-brown beer with a huge red-brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of berries. The flavor is very sweet with notes of berries - and the vitamin pill I had every morning when I was a kid. The end is dry and slightly bitter.

Dark brown colour. Off white head that just leaves alot of lacing. Lots of spices in the aroma, cloves is one of them. Has some smoakiness in the aroma too. It has cloves in the taste and also licorice, roasted malt too and a nice bitterness in the aftertaste. A very nice beer.

Dark color with brown hue; no head. Light aroma of caramel and spices. Soft mouthfeel, malty, caramel, with some sweetness, light spices (nutmeg and cinnamon overall) and very light apple. Pleasant, without thrill.

Bottle, 2005-03-05, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Dark color. A very good dark beer, with the correct balance of sweetness and bitterness, malt, caramel (a lot), roasted malt, good hops.

Black color; the foam almost doesn’t exist, oily appearance. Small roasted malt aroma, molasses. Some malt taste, the roasted malt adds a very light typical sourness; lots of caramel and light liquorice; good body strength. Very good beer.

Mahogany color. Nice aroma, light coffee, some caramel, light paperboard; sweet, candisugar and light fudge. Dunkel taste, but sweeter than usual, with of course quite a lot of caramel. Average bitterness.

Black color, small head. The aroma shows chocolate in front of all, some oxidisation, very light apple and vanilla. The body is quite lean, the final being weak; chocolate flavor, getting empty in the end. It didn’t age well.

Black color, thin head. Wonderful aroma: malt, caramel, liquorice, coffee, a hint of fudge, very light phenol. Quite malty body, good mix of caramel and liquorice, ends with a burnt final (coffee) very long. A bit dry. Excellent! (at Glenfiddich Warehouse N.68 with Hui Ling and their chocolate dessert, yummy!)

Dark brown color; small head, almost flat. Nice aroma, with some roasted malt, yeast, molasses, caramel. Without being strong, the taste is really harmonious; a lot of caramel and some roasted malt; oily. The final is quite balanced, very long. Thanks Per for this rare bottle.

Black. The aroma is very much like a Tootsie Roll, but also with lots of dark chocolate and a whiff of smoke. Sweet, very malty character. Exceptionally chocolatey. Sweet, mouth-coating finish.

Bottle: Pale golden colour, hazy. White head that disappears quickly. Has a malty aroma, some grass and alcohol too. The taste is sweet with a nice balace between malt and hops. Leaves you with a nice bitternees in the aftertaste.
