Sample at Palace Hall 13/12/2025 Malmö December tasting - (2024 vintage) toasted and sweet malty with dried fruit shred, molasses, medium body, spiced lingering malty finish. Very nice.

(Bottle) Brownish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, slightly boozy, nose with notes of dried fruit, figs, dates, oak wood, rum, caramel, honey, vanilla, hazelnuts and chocolate. Malty, vinous, sweetish taste with dried fruit, figs, dates, oak wood, rum, vanilla, caramel, syrup, hazelnuts, sweet liquorice, cinnamon, chocolate and a mild spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Almost full body, sweet. Rich, strong and warming, with a good splash of rum. Very nice.

Bottle 50 cl. Cloudy, opaque amber with a smallish, off-white head. Slightly spicy hop aromas. Medium body, slightly sweet biscuit and caramel with sufficient, balancing bitterness. No biggie but straight and well made. 091125

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque dark brown - borderline black - with a lacing, beige head. Aroma of molase, dark drid fruits and a slight roastiness. Rich, malty body, slightly roasty, some chocolate and licorice with a warming finish with subtle bitterness. Sort of a borderline Stout. 021125

400ml draught at Zum Franziskaner. Off-white head remaining over a deep brownish head, fair lacing. Caramel malts on the nose, semi dry. Caramel flavoured added by earth and nuts. Roasted caramel malty ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing (Stockholm, 02.11.2025).
