We bring you craft beer with a nostalgic twist, born from influential culture of the 80's & 90's.
At the heart of Play Brew Co is an obsession for creating quality beers. That all started back in 2014, when our founder Phil embarked on a journey of home brewing after being inspired by the craft beer cropping up in Leeds.
2017: It’s been a long road but we are delighted to announce that Play Brew Co’s first trio of beers is hitting bars and stores in the North of England. The Arcade ‘86 Series is a collection of three recipes that pay homage to Phil’s favourite beers – tying his experience of home brewing and his on hand experience at brew labs together.

Keg draught at Sommar Leicester. Deep yellow/gold and hazy with a small white head. Massive grapefruit and tropical tutti frutti aroma. Bittersweet taste with an overload of hop character... so much hop that it almost topples over on itself. Lots of white grapefruit. Bitter hop oils on the aftertaste. Silky body with carbonation on the low side.

One-third, tap at Mother Kelly's Tottenham. Almost black in the glass, film-type layer, scattered lacing. Attractive aromas of chocolate and citrus. The taste character follows suit with orange peels and chocolate, lightly spiced. Smooth malt-fruity ending. Medium bodied. Like it. (London, 07.12.2023).
