Keg at Leviathan Brewery taproom, Bingohame Bimble, 11/06/21. Pitch black with a good sized tan head. Nose is mellow roast, dried fruits, charr, toffee. Taste comprises good bitter roast characteristics, dried fruits, raisins, cocoa powder, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Solid straight up stout.

Taste comprises Ribena berry, light roast, cocoa sprinkle, pine needle, bitter tropical fruits, light charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with balanced hop bitterness. Decent CDA.

Keg at Leviathan Brewery Tap, Bingohame Bimble, 11/06/21. Hazed orange with a decent just off white head. Nose is floral, lychee, pine, juicy hop, ripe melon. Taste comprises sweet malts, pine resin, melon, pineapple, grass, juicy tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with balanced juicy hop bitterness. Decent.

On tap at WIP, Lichfield. Pours almost black with a substantial foamy beige head and good lacing. A little chocolate in the aroma. In the mouth it is very bitter with roasted malts to the fore giving coffee and caramel effects. Saltiness can be detected too, along with peppery spices which increase in the finish. A bit strange, but a very good beer to commemorate the 5000th in my personal records.

Keg at the Brewery; hazy golden yellow pour, with a tight off bubbly white head, aroma has some tropical fruits and minerals, taste has sweet malts, mineral hints, pineapple, bitter finish.

24/4/2021. Can shared with D&J at the welcome to Eva beer share. From Hopsters, Chelmsford. Pours very dark reddish brown with a huge frothy off-white to beige head. Quite curious aroma, picks up the quite distinctive feast ice cream and milky cocoa, has a touch of coconut and an odd background mix of plasticine and candle wax. Medium sweetness, with moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, frothy carbonation. Feasts are one of my favourite ice creams, and I've enjoyed this brewers other beers, just not sure this one really worked. Great label though.

Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy amber-brown. Yeast, malt, canned olive juice, a bit of sanitizer, sweetish-bitterish and a bit sourish. Bad.

440ml can. Pours slightly hazy light gold with a small head. Aroma is sweet, with papaya, melon and lemon. Taste is bitter with melon and lemon.
