Cloudy nutbrown color, short head. Aroma is light malty, bit metallic, bit roasted nuts. Little sweet and malty taste but also some sour yeast, some bitterness, slightly fruity. Not very spectacular.

Cloudy nutbrown color, short creamy head. Aroma is yeasty, loads of hazelnut (?), dusty, cardboard. Strange flat sweetness in flavor, hazelnut, again a bit dusty. Maybe not a bad brew, but certainly not my kind of flavor.

Cloudy dark orange color, short white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, pineapple, some cinnamon and coriander. Yeasty and spicy taste, some pineapple again. Quite refreshing palate.

Bottled. (After pouring the yeast) cloudy orange color, medium white head, lasting. Aroma of grains, spices (coriander), banana, citrus. Sweet taste, in between a triple and a white more, banana again. If it is a white, then more a german wheat, but still it is a bit weak. Sticky palate.

Irregular, thick yellow-brown head; dark brown colour with reddish shine. Leafy nose, like fresh shrubbery leaves. At the same time a yeasty, even meaty smell, as often observed at a brewery. Taste from sweet and roasted malts, but as part of what I would describe as oxtail beersoup. Full of yeasty, sulphury and meaty esters & flavours. Not unpleasant. Sulphur returns retronasal, as some gluey notes. Sweetness becomes recognisable as liquorice. Fairly chewy, slightly oily mouthfeel. Alcohol is fairly hidden, but creeps in with a vengeance. That's some wee Scottish ale at 8.5 ABV! I suspect my sample was very young. I might well believe this beer to come forward even more at its advantage after another 6 months careful cellaring.

Rather pale yellow; medium-thick head, white, fading fast. Vanilla, grain & alcohol in the nose; after some time, coriander just jumps out of the bottle. Sweet taste, coriander and faint citrus. Like a witbier without wheat. Faint saltiness. Medium bodied. fully attenuated - that's true to style. "Slight sweet with an agreable hopbiterness", the label wants it. Hopbitterness??? This tram would stop of fright if a hopcone showed itself. P*ss-poor.

Bottled. An unclear orange-amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of dusty hops, malt, fresh peaches, and other over ripe fruits, as well as alcohol. The body is thin.

(I very much doubt this is actually brewed at Klein Duimpje. Scheldebrouwerij is much more plausible). Clear red amber; yellowish dense head, irregular. Rich cake aromas, fruity & estery (banana - and I would agree with Edo about some pear). faint bitter, again woody in character. Seems typical for Klein Duimpje. Not much else, but yeasty. Medium-bodied, bit thin texture - not Belgian. Glimpse of sweetness in the aftertaste. Certainly not bad, just not exciting.

Hazy mahogany; fine yellowish head, slowly fading. Nose is more bready-yeasty than honeyish. Roasted malts in evidence, some wood. Bitter-woody taste at first, slowly replaced by more sweet malt flavours, some roasted. Every sip gives new bitterish wood. Not too heavy, even refreshing, which is remarkable for a honey beer. Seems some alcohol shows, but at 5.5%, I'm wondering. Keeps a bit flat. And where's that honey?

Hazy brown color, medium lasting off-white head, some debris. Aroma is of roasted malts and a sharp metal/iron hint. Sweet and bitter taste, roasted again. Bitter palate.
