Bottle. Batch 0001(!). Elaborate closure - schmicko artificial cork _and_ a crown seal. Clear amber with a white head that lasts pretty well. Gueuzey aroma with old lemon funk, toasted oak, pears. Medium bodied, lowish carbonation. Sour, brooding with bracken (no vinegar note), mellow autumnal fruit, lightly oaky finish. Perhaps the presence falls away a bit late on. Hugely impressive. Bottle kindly gifted by Henrik. Pours unclear yellow with creamy, white head. Loads of floral notes with chamomile and lilac. Some lavendel. Like a herbal flower tea. Great stuff!

GABS Melbourne 19. I've seen their beers around but as an unknown quantity pricing their blended sour beers at ~$18 for 375ml I've passed without further thought. Hazy orange with a small white head. Fruity with apricot, bracken. Dry, moderately sour lollies. Lacks a bit of depth but pretty good.

Pink pour. Smells like money (that's been dipped in sour beer). Hints of cucumber and watermelon. Thinner than I hoped. Not quite worth the Benjamins.

750ml bottle from Bucket Boys, Marrickville. Hazy yellow gold colour, short-lived white foam head and citrusy funky hop aroma. Taste is tangy apple, sourish, with woody oak, citrus rind, barnyard funk and dank hop notes. Medium bodied, fine spritzy carbonation, dry tart funky & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Dollar Bill Brewing Grand Cru 7.1% A super opaque milky straw gold. The aroma is impressive with a peppery funk and musty barnyard. Light bodied and super tart with lemon and acidic notes. Really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
