Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow color, small white to off-white head. Weird aroma of alcohol, malts and plums, overripe fruits. Taste malts, again a hint of overripe fruits, alcohol, sweetish and again a bit weird. Does not taste like a tripel at all imo. And I don’t quite like it either.

Clear medium golden colour, small frothy white head, disappears within seconds, light lacing. Aroma on the shy side, malty, light fruity, pear, hay, hint of honey, bit of sulphur. Taste medium sweet and bitter, fruity, bit spicy. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, finish mild dry bitter, light sweetness, herbal and fruity notes, more bitterness towards the end but also lingering pepperiness, overall a peculiar brew, decent.

Bottle. Just an everyday pilsner. Golden color, small head. No real aroma, flat taste of grain and some subtle hops. Boring.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, raisins and caramel. Strong bitter taste with some alcohol warmth. Not very full bodied for such a high ABV beer.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s mid-week lasting 03/07/14. Transulcent golden / yellow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroms is mostly off putting fishy notes, oysters and seaweed with banana and wheat grains. Flavour is tart, orange peel, wheat and flabby doughy wheat grains with a tart finish. Palate is soft and flabby some hot alcohol. Pretty bad.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear rusty orange - golden color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly grains, slightly sweetish, not much more. Hmm ok, not bad. Not a dunkelweizen like most beers from this style, and to me that’s good news cause this is actually drinkable.
