6/9/2024. From BIAB at the 37th Chappel Summer Beer Festival. Pours very slightly hazy pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is juicy apple, straw, caramel, citrus. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, low carbonation. Drying finish. Quite likeable.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Slightly hazed pale yellow gold colour, bubbly white rim and aroma of ripe apple, fruity, funk hint. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, sugary, with alittle tartness, underhints of funk, biscuit and tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 17/09/23. Pale golden yellow with a white cap that thins to spotting. Nose is crisp apple, grains, hedgerow, hint of sugar. Taste comprises sweet edged apples, tannins, hint of toffee apple, floral, vinous. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Okay sipper but a touch simplistic and a little on the sweet side for me.

31/8/2023. Bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours clear pale golden with a small short lasting bubbly white head. Aroma is sweet apple, caramel, hint of sulphur, some funkiness developed. Quite heavy sugary sweetness with a light tart edge and a little wood. Medium body, soft carbonation. Light dry finish. Developed well. Quite liked this.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham / Grumbo, 20/08/23. Very light haze on a pale golden yellow pour with a fast escaping white head. Nose is crisp apple, straw, light caramel notes, touch of farmhouse. Taste comprises green apple, very subtle acidity, tannins, barnyard funk, light orchard wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent refreshing stuff.

28/7/2023. From BIAB at the 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival. Pours very slightly hazy pale golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is moderately sweet apples, slightly funky and citric, caramel, light sulphur. Medium sweetness, touch of tartness. Moderate body, low carbonation. Drying finish with a nice sweet and tart mix. Good.

Cider in a box at Colchester Winter Ale Festival 2023. Tasted with George, the guy who made this one. Clearish deep reddish amber color, still. Aroma of apple flesh and berries. Taste starts with sweet apple then finishes medium dry. Light body. Cheers George! Happy 78th next week.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers Shawn! Hazed golden colour, bubbly white rim and aroma of apple, mucky funk, flowery. Taste is sweetish, apple, fleshy with some tartness, citric acidity and drying light tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry citric finish. Quite drinkable.
