33cl bottle from a trade with MonsterMangnet, thanks! A clear reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of dark malt, caramel, raisins and hints of nuts. Taste of dark red malt, raisins, caramel, dried fruits, nuts. Moderate bitterness.

20 June 2021. At Lokaal, Haarlem. Shared with the lovely Anke! Bottle. Hazy black, stable, foamy, beige head. Aroma of candied orange peel, dried fig, plum, toast, weetened fondant. Taste has sweet fig & plum, fondant maltiness, layer of toast & nuts too, some bitter citrus peel. Earthy hoppy finish, citrus & toast yet remaining sweetish with dried fruit accents. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Agreeable, but a bit too much - needs more harsh hoppiness!

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 31 Aug 2019) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, apricots and toast. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, orange, mandarin, grainy malt and a balanced citric bitterness. Light body, mainly dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.
