Tap @ Oudaen, medium sample. Clear amber color, short frothy head. Aroma is slight sweet, bit fruity of strawberry, slight citrus, bit grainy, slight spicy. Soft bitter taste, slight caramelly sweetness. The slight citrussy fruitiness makes it more refreshing. But I prefer their Ouwe Daen as a summer beer.

Appearance: Cloudy deep yellow color with a thick white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, citric and banana.
Palate: Medium to full body. Tad sweet and a fine bitterness. Average to rich carbonation.
Taste: Mild balanced wheat, mild citric and balanced banana.
Overall impression: Nice refreshing and tasty hefe.

@ oudaen pours clear, small white head. not much smell very low carbo herbal character. no aftertaste at all

@ oudaen smells like an intence wheatbeer. pours fuzzy yellow, small white head taste is very intence ( much coreander) very nice!

@ oudaen pours clear brown, with a red glow . almost no foam smells earthy and chocolate good carbo taste is like coockies, caramel, chocolate. very pleasant, earthy-sweet, cookiedough finish .

(Draught at Oudaen Bierbrouwerij, Utrecht, 25 July 2013) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of white bread, hay and a touch of citrus. Malty, wheaty taste with notes of bread, citrus, banana and vanilla. Low bitterness. Medium body, with a hint of sweetness. Decent and ok hefeweizen, but not really exciting.
