Bottle via Pivny raj. Thin bodied, med-high carbonation, quickly disappearing head though. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. A bit empty in terms of overall character, not much malt or hops action going on. Subtle but fitting honey touch, otherwise light dull metallic, hints of grassy earthy hops. Drinkable.

10/8/9/8/11/8

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Woody, minimally funky, roasty dark malty aroma, notes of oak, toasted nuts, some dark chocolate, a minimally ashy, smoky touch, some resin, cedar wood, Retsina, whiffs of liquorice root. Taste is resinous, woody and roasty, dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, oak, resin, hints of Retsina, a minimally tannic touch, some liquorice root, cedar wood, some roasty and hoppy bitterness, well hidden alcohol though a minimally warming effect can't be denied; lingering, sticky, oaky, resinous finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, quite cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Quite resinous and woody, not really easy drinkable but a teasing sipper you can't stop to empty like a bag of crisps - very fine.

Bottle: Light amber coloured, cloudy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing creamy off-white head, sweet caramelly-malty nose, dried fruits and honeyish honeyish spots underneath, mild traces of alcohol as well; solid sweet flavour, a little bitterness is well detectable, full bodied; slightly lingering honeyish-caramelly finish with illusions of dried fruits and a minimalistic balancing bitterness and a gentle alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Good, even though pretty sweet...

It is bitter, but it is smelling like a homebrew yeast slurry. 7 months before expiry. A complete massive gushing bottle, inacceptable. Hopcult Dresden
