As Septem Red Ale, bottle brought back from a Cretan supermarket. Pours clear red/amber with a thin, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of red apple, brioche, dried banana, raisin, caramel, green tea. Taste is light malty sweet, red apple & pear resting on caramel & brioche; herbal & nutty bitterness, faintly metallic, leading to a dry, herbal hoppy finish, more red apple (peel). Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Sympathetic little beer.

Has great big foam and nice foggy straw coloured body, smells of refreshing lemon and chewy wheat grain. Flavour is bright lemony hops. Mouthfeel is full, good oiliness. This has nice hoppy character, the wheat is missing though.

Has great big foam and soft foggy yellow body, the aroma is all soft vague hops. Flavour is chewy grain with vegetably hop notes. Mouthfeel has no crispness. It's not bad but not exciting at all.
