Bright blond. Aroma is grassy. Flavour has some green apple. Quite sweet and sticky. Not a particularly hoppy or bitter beer. Overall a bit too sweet.

Bottle from Dranken Pauwels Kortrijk. Says Editie 2013 stamped on the front but then on the back of the label it say Oud Bruin Experimenteel, so no idea where this should go, but the picture on this beer is the same and doesn’t have the Experimenteel on the front as the other rating does. Anyway enough of what beer this is, what’s the beer actually like? Well I boght it cos I do love Flemish Red Sour as a style. Hazy reddish brown with no head. Cherry and fruity flavour with some sourness and some malt in the body. Sharp on the finish, like sharp red cherries. It’s excellent. There is carbonation in the body of the beer even though there is no head. The sourness is just the right level. Aroma of cherry vinegar. It’s lovely. True to style. It’s very good.

Thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing! The beer starts quite sweet for an IPA, but nicely flowery hopped. The mainpart is sweet-hoppy, but the sweetness covers the nice floral aroma. The aftertaste is long, slightly malty, but mainly sweet. --> The sweetness covers all if the great floral hop aroma... very sad! 8/10/9/8
