Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.

The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Deep amber with a glow and a creamy head. Has a strength but there’s a fair sugared sticky fruitiness too.

On tap at Beerd, Bristol June 2016. Hazy amber with a billowy, off-white, head. Sweet mango, floral hops, biscuity malts and a rapsing, boozy, finish. Too extreme for me.

Dark golden color with an off white layer on top. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a soft carbonation. The bitterness did not balance up the sweetness to good in this one. Oily texture. Quite fruity and not so much hop flavor as I hoped.

Very hazy amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, fine minerally carbonation. Mild strawberry and milder pepper. Generic fruits. Dry seltzer. Dry finish. It’s fine but I was expecting more pep from this.

Handpull cask from the Orange Tree, Baldock as ’This is Not a Poké Stop’. Mid-gold, clear with a small and slightly loose white head. Fair bit of visible natural carbonation. Very enticing. Light smell of bubblegum and resin among light citrussy notes. Full semi-sweet taste turns bitter mid-sip and cascades to a long dry finish. Uncompromising waxy bittering hop in the aftertaste with a touch of papaya. Full mouthfeel for the ABV. Incredibly understated but very very good.
