It is a nice Belgian ale with a good touch of hop, aromatic and sparkling, not so far from a Duvel regarding the taste, interesting, 05.11.17, tasting it at Bonfol, buying it in Paris, bootlegger or Place de l'Aligre

330ml bottle. Appearance has a pinkish tint, medium off-white head. Has an unfortunate artificial sweet floral red berry flavouring which completely ruins it, and doesn't encourage much further thought.

Bottle at Hops, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a small foamy almost white head. There’s a sweet boozy aroma of honey, coriander and yeast. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with a little underlying sharpness, and a creamy almost cloying texture. Flavour has malts, honey, orange peel and hints of pear with traces of banana bread and herbs coming later leading to a quite spicy finish. This is pretty d*mn good – and dangerously drinkable !
