In 2012, The Harbour Brewing Co. was just a fledgling idea: to brew proper beer reflecting the land (and shores) from where it came. Taking the best raw ingredients - awesome hops, Cornish spring water tapped straight from the source - and bringing them to life through dedication to technique. The concept evolved by the ocean - hence, 'Harbour' - but the beer came into being on the farm. There is joy in returning to the roots of the ingredients. And the heritage of the space, of the land, of the ocean, remain our inspiration. Everything clicks; the farm is Harbour's home.

440ml can. Murky amber with moderate sized white head, leaves a nice layer once settled. Orange, passionfruit, caramel malts in aroma. Malty, caramel, orange zest, grapefruit, light pine and resin bitterness. It has more softer fruity notes than I was expecting from the amber appearance. Nice smoothness and soft carbonation. Quite good, lacks a bit of complexity through the flavour but it is tasty.

330ml can from Beer52 subscription box. Pours a murky brown with moderate sized beige head. Ok, not that black but does leave a nice creamy looking top once settled. Aroma of light roasted notes, burnt caramel, berries. Taste is malty, caramel, light roast, citrus, light grapefruit. Light to moderate body, slight stickiness on palate. Its quite a pleasant mellow Black IPA, has a nice sessionable quality to it. However assuming its a one off can edition then I would have liked a bit more intensity in the flavours.

Bottle at the restauran. No obvious Harbour.Mango IPA. Aroma is sweet with a bitter edge. Slightly hazy gold. Thin white head. Light sweetness from mango with a bitter resinous edge. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

As Blackrock Arctic Sky Session IPA, in said City resteraunt. Keg. Aroma is citrusy, herbal and malty. Clear light gold. Very thin white head. Light-medium bitter. Citrus. Malts. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale amber pour with a hint of pink and a fast fading white head; sour fruity aroma; lively on the tongue with some rhubarb and vanilla flavours; then a creamy finish with some caramel and stewed fruit.
