Draft at Drafting Table. Pours a pitch black with a small brown head that dissipates. Big bourbon aromas with brownie fudge and maple syrup as it warms. Vanilla, chocolate and more maple on the palate. Good body and carbonation with a bourbon-forward finish. Very good.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clear deep gold with a finger of off-white foam that lingers. Honey-ed bread, pine and grapefruit aromas on the nose. More of the same on the palate with a piney, grapefruit punch as it goes down. Nice bitterness that lingers, with a balanced sweet malt backbone. 16oz can pours a clear gold with some clumpy white head. Nose has corn and malt and honey and herbs. Flavors same. Full bodied and bitter and oily. 7 4 7 4 13

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear gold with a full finger and a half of white foam. Lovely citrus focused nose with light malt notes. Pine, citrus and pith on the palate with a drying finish. Nice body for the ABV, but doesn't feel heavy.

Can from Drafting Table. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Lovely maple syrup, bourbon and dark chocolate aromas on the nose. Palate is similar with vanilla, oak, bourbon and lingering maple syrup notes. Drying finish with all of the notes harmonizing well together.

Can from the brewery. Pours a deep chestnut brown to black with a half finger of brown head that dissipates. Coffee, vanilla cream and bourbon aromas on the nose dominate. Smooth and creamy on the palate with lingering bourbon and vanilla coffee. Not overly sweet though and nice lingering espresso bitterness on the finish with vanilla bean and bourbon.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a deep brown with a small bit of beige head that dissipates. Lots of lactose in the nose with cinnamon and cacao nib on the palate. A bit thicker body than a lot of Drafting Table stouts. Cinnamon pops nicely with creamy cocoa. Lingering cinnamon and warming alcohol on the finish.

2020 Can from Drafting Table. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown foam that lingers. Big bourbon focused nose with some light vanilla and dark malt as it warms. Good body with warming bourbon that lingers and vanilla underneath. Warming finish with more vanilla, dark malt, coffee and cacao flavors.
