Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a little airy, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Hops bring mellow citrus with a light overlay ripe pineapple. A little floral pineapple. Lesser generic tropical fruits underneath. Light finish. Nice an easy going. Some Denali hols would not have gone amiss here.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A/21B). Can 44.5 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium-high orange juice aroma with a slight alcoholic background (peppery) and slight sweetness. APPEARANCE: orange colour and hazy. medium-low light beige head with medium-low retention. TASTE: medium orange flavour, followed by a low peppery alcoholic background. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. unbalanced. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a fruit NE-DIPA with a bit too much orange presence and no discernible hop notes, rendering it unbalanced.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small cream colour head. Smooth and fairly light palate, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, light creamy sweet malts. Bright fresh orange juice. Quite remarkably fresh, well backed by lighter tangerine and mandarin. Light pine and lighter hop spice on the back end. I normally think that adding fruit juice is a bit of cheat and those flavours should come from the hops but there is no denying what the brewers have done here works really well. Struggling not to chugg the lot.

26th May 2019 Can. Vol 3. Citra and Denali. Hazy orange gold beer, tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Bright nose of pink grapefruit and pine. Light and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft pine. Modest soft hop skunk. Nibbly hop spice. Rich and slightly ripe tropical fruits. Twangy fruits on the back end. Plenty hoppy and plenty of hop satisfaction but it never quite sings.

The Aromas are Citrus hops with pale and caramel malt. Flavors are like nose, slightly sweet Citrus upfront follow up with some burnt sugar caramel malt and lingering bitterness. Decent carbonation okay body with a little medicinal in the Finish.

Lots of gunk in the bottom of the can. Enough that I can feel the weight in the bottom of the can. It looks like the end of a firkin.

13 April 2019. At First Timternational Beer Tasting, Ghent. Cheers to Ghent beer crew! Pours cloudy ochre with an unstable, thinning, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, mellow mango, dank onion, sweat, gin, dough, stale lime, overripe, almost mouldy mandarin, vague medicin. Taste is medium fruity sweet, fresher notes of pineapple & mandarin on an oniony & cheesy base; medium hoppy bitter core with bitter mango, mandarin peel, sourish lime in the back, a tad spicy & medicinal. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, hint of hashish & more mellow fruit, some warming alcohol (medicinal again, gin-like) but remaining in check. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Hugely drinkable beer for 11% ABV, quite fresh still in taste, but the aroma was less promising.
