I found this pint can in the singles shelves at the closest HEB fairly recently. For beers from the Metroplex I like using my Cowtown tulip glass so I will now. The view is an indistinct light yellow liquid topped by an impressive head of absolutely white foam. I take a smell and it gives the basic beer smell if you get my drift. Grain and perhaps a hint of citrus. A drink from the glass and there is grain again, dry crackers, malt and a decent little corn sweetness. Sort of reminds me of a malt liquor I enjoy occasionally. All right beer in a style I don't get too wound up over. A squeeze of lime might make it even better.

Hazy, grapefruit-colored pint at Grrrowlers. Saline nose, grapefruit hops melding great with the raspberry puree. Not much Saison nuance. Semi-sweet, leaning dry. Heavy on the fresh & juicy raspberry puree, earthy tannins, iron, light veg hops, American wheat beer feels, pleasant acidity & mid-high tartness. Crispy, slight slurry texture, can't detect the abv. Kinda refreshing as a generic fruit beer.

A barley wine is better in cool weather, but what are you going to do? Mid-August, high 90’s and I have a snifter prepared to catch a Texas brewed That’s Significant. Pint can tilting into the glass, I see a thinnish amber-brown body topped by a creamy head of light tan foam. The smell is ripe fruit, some grain and sweetness. The drink is all right, not great but not bad. Raisins, wheat bread, plums, hay and a bare entrance of toffee. Denser than it looks. I appreciate barley wines, this one is down the list considerably. Unfortunately.

16 oz. can from Total Wine - San Antonio, TX. Pours a pitch black color with dark amber highlights and a huge beige head with annoyingly excellent retention. Spotty lacing. Dark malt aroma with some background coffee notes. Very dark malt flavor, almost burnt, with some dark chocolate and minor coffee notes in the finish. Good example of the style. Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Very clean and smooth. Good beer.

Thirsty Growler, running down the list. Half pour. Clear but dark tea pour with some lingering lace. Fruity, softly tropical, hot nose. There's a weird but obvious (& tasty) astringent, fruit punch flavor down the middle before it goes sharp, butterscotch-y & malty. Thin, crispy, with a nip of body, low carb, runs hot. Good.

Poured from 500mL bottle (listed as 16 fl oz on the bottle). Black with no head, some chunks on the first pour, piece of chocolate melted into the cap. Lots of bourbon on the nose, rich chocolate, mild vanilla. Could be more full bodied. Alcohol is there, but disappears a bit. Decent.

Can’t say I recall sampling a strawberry flavored IPA before. Generally speaking, flavored IPAs don’t trip my trigger. But it is a DIPA and it was brewed in Texas. I have a Great Heights snifter ready to catch the pour from the 16 oz can I bought at the steady, local craft beer shop. The appearance is a non-transparent gold body carrying a spare skim of snow white foam. The scent is vaguely strawberries along with the barest touch of hops. A drink gives some pine, a light touch of strawberry fruitiness, malt, a little bitterness and a nice full sensation. I have to say I am underwhelmed but the can will be finished.

Can thanks to William. Pours a cloudy yellow with small white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and pine. Slick body, melon, grass, nice bitterness, very good.
