Beer Bros, CDMX: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is like a bakery, sort of. Taste is sweet and slightly spicy. Not a wit at all. What is it??

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Boozy nose with dark fruit, fig, raisin and stewed plum. Sweet on the palate at first with some candi sugar and dried fig and raisin notes. Then bitter towards the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Erizo on 01 Jul 2018 at 11:19 - Score: 7

12 oz bottle poured, brought back from Mexico. Stoked to find this bottle shortly after my favorite brewery from back home just got done collaborating with these guys unexpectedly. A cleaner than expected golden orange pour. Odd aroma, almost offputting, spicy, coriander. Flavor is pretty nice, a softer, cooler version of the aroma. Floral. Touch of spice. Became an easier drinking brew as I went through it. Unique wit here.

355ml bottle at Matt's. Pours a clear amber with a weak white head. Aroma is malty, candied citrusy. Similar taste with moderate to high bitterness. Quite good.

355mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out piney hop oils, herbal notes, and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hop oils, light herbal character and biscuity malt. Decent hop oil feel on the palate. Not bad.

Amber colour. Not much head. Orangey, Sweet malts, and bitter orangey hops. Good balance, pretty old school, and the hops aren't so bad.

A lightly hazed golden pils with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light off notes, OK. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light cider character, apple, aldehyde, so-so.
