Intense dark sweet roasted malty with opulent rich chocolate, some caramel and toffee like sweetness, cocoa nibs, slick silky mouthfeel and full body, sweet vanilla coalesces with the chocolate into the lingering chocolate infused malty finish. Immense.

Can shared at Zozo's. Pours copper with a thin beige head. Nose is booze, caramel, vanilla, kinda messy. Taste is caramel, biscuity malts, a faint floral touch and huge booze, which becomes overwhelming at one point. The dry body further highlight the booy character, which is unfortunate. It's far from bad, but rather messy.

Can shared at Zozo's. Jet black pour, big beige head. Nose is big, rhich coffee, spicy, woody, savoury. Also some molasses and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet, but not cloying, showing mainly coffee, but also some rum, dark chocolate, wood, cocoa powder and molasses. Closes with a long lasting, sweet and warming, coffee finish, has a full, thick and creamy body and soft carbonation. Great stuff.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is very oaky with sweet caramel malt, lots of toffee, dried fruits, vanilla, more wood throughout. Flavour is sweet with some bitterness, light alcohol. Above medium body. Sweet with a strong oak profile, toffee, caramel malt.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with cocoa, dark chocolate. Nicely roasty with vanilla, chocolate sauce, touch of fudge and caramel, espresso, some molasses. Flavour is sweet with a fairly robust bitterness. Body is full. Rich and roasty chocolate vanilla dessert, quite good.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is heavy on the coffee with molasses, syrup, roasted malt, mocha, chocolate, vanilla, sugar. Flavour is quite sweet and sugary , a bit too much for me. Body is incredibly thick and creamy. Too bad about the sugary overload.

Draught@SBWF2022. Deep brown colour with a big off-white creamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is chocolate, strawberries, some toasted tones with mild lemongrassy tones. Flavou ris sweet malts, some fruits, chocolate, blueberries and mild strawberries with some slight wooden tones to it. Hides the abv nicely.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 1 Oct 2022) Dark brown colour with big, creamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of chocolate, strawberries and caramel. Malty, fruity, tart taste with strawberries, chocolate, blueberries, caramel and a sweet and sour finish with low bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. A bit odd, sweet and desserty, but rich and tasty. Very nice.

31/12/2022. Can from Hoptimaal online. Version B2. Final beer of 2022 and it’s a good one. Pours black with a good size tan coloured head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, vanilla and coffee. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Full body, rich, smooth, soft carbonation. Very nice.

Sample (from omhper). Black colour, minor head. Aroma is coffee, some alcohol, liquorice and sweetness. Flavour is coffee, some alcohol, quite a bunch of dry fruit sweetness and dates along with some dark chocolate. Very oily and thick palate. Quite in your face brutal, but still silky smooth at the same time.
