Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig malzig, etwas röstmalzig, Karamell, süß. Geschmack süß malzig, Karamell, leicht röstmalzig, ok aber etwas zu süß.

Heller und süßlicher, dumpf herber Antrunk. Hellmalzig, weiterhin süßlich. Kaum hopfig, unscheinbar. 9/10/9/8/9/9

Runder, leicht karamelliger Antrunk. Die Karamelligkeit verschwindet, die Süße bleibt, hell getreidig. Süffig, Netz. 9/10/11/9//10

Süßlicher, rund herber Antrunk. Die Herbe bleibt im Mittelteil konstant, der vorher abgebende Hopfen knickt etwas ein. In Anschluss süßlich getreidig, rund. 9/10/9/7//9

500ml bottle. Clear dark amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Grainy and minimally strawy aroma, a very cautious touch of cherries and red berries, mild hints of rabbit piss. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, slightly fruity, red berries, pale cherries, caramel, candied fruit, honey. Too sweet, not exactly what one might expect from a Dunkel, but still nice and drinkable in its own right.

On tap at Hopfenreich, Berlin on 24th July 2014 - with Svesse! Hazy gold with white part-lacing film. Grassy aroma with lemon zest. Tangy, zesty liquid with fresh lemon, almost like a good Italian still lemonade. Zesty finish on a zingy mouthfeel; light body. Loved it.

(Draught at Hopfenreich, Berlin, 26 July 2014) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of fresh bread, apricots and grass. Malty, fruity taste with bread, apricots, grass, a touch of toast and a gentle grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Fruity, sourish nose with citrus, biscuits, grass and a fresh citric tartness in the finish. Light body, quite dry. Tasty and highly drinkable, with a fresh acidity. However a bit thin. Nice one.
